About the Developer

Model Economic Township Limited (METL), a Reliance Industries Company

Reliance Industries Limited is the parent company behind Reliance MET City, developing the township through its wholly owned subsidiary, Model Economic Township Limited (METL). METL plans the land, builds the utility infrastructure, manages the industrial estate and sells residential, commercial and industrial inventory across about 8,250 acres in Jhajjar, Haryana.

The township has attracted 650+ companies from 11 countries (February 2026), including Haryana’s Japanese Industrial Township with Panasonic, Denso, Nihon Kohden, Tsuzuki India, Sanko Gosei and Svam Toyal, plus Saab, BEUMER, FM Logistic, Reliance Retail, Hamdard and Boditech Med. METL reports 40,000+ jobs and more than 3,000 residential customers.

In February 2026, METL launched Metropolis by MET City, a 140-acre mixed-use development at Daryapur with about 100 acres in Phase 1, built and funded in-house. Allotment letters, cost sheets, RERA details and building guidelines come from METL, so it is the reference point for any purchase. This website is an independent guide and is not operated by METL or Reliance Industries.
